I don't know that there's anything that people do with their dogs that is more fun or fun to watch than agility! The dogs and their owners have a great time - even when a dog refuses to go over or through an obstacle, the handler encourages the animal to finish the course on a successful note, and the spectators always seem to applaud.
Helix Fairweather participated in a 3-day agility trial in Graham, Washington, not far from Tacoma. This is Helix's Bearded Collie, Brady.
We went to meet Helix and Billie Smart, but also got to meet Billie's daughter, Susan, as well as Karen Norton, Jackye and Kathleen, and a few other people whose names I don't recall, and whose pictures I didn't get.
We did have the opportunity to see the famous Beardie, Jake, herding sheep.
