I had never been to San Francisco, so we made reservations in an RV park
in Petaluma for three nights, which wasn't enough time to even begin to see this area,
especially since it rained nearly the entire time we were there. We'll make another
trip to San Francisco in the future and stay for at least a week.

We had dinner on Fishermans Wharf the first night.
It must have taken us an hour just to decide where to eat.

Every restaurant had an area on the sidewalk where they sold food, as well as indoor seating.

The narrow, winding streets, and tightly packed houses were interesting,
but really made me appreciate our half-acre lot!

We were able to see Alcatraz Island through the haze,
but tours were booked up for several days in advance.

We never did get to see the entire Golden Gate Bridge - maybe next time.
