One of our
goals on this trip was to see the giant redwoods in northern
California.
But there
was an extra bonus with this part of the adventure. We have been
corresponding with many people who own or have an interest in
Bearded Collies through an interest group on the internet, and
several of them would be along this route between San Francisco
and Washinton. Meeting these people, and others later along the
route, made this vacation even more special!
We were
also able to locate a dear friend from Hawaii who had recently
relocated to the area.
