After a few days stop at home, we made a two-week trip to Massachusetts to visit with Bill's family. It was the first time in many years that all of the siblings had been "home" at the same time. Current family pictures will be included in the "family photos pages".
Karen
Norteman is one of the Bearded Collie Rescue people who
got involved when we were trying to locate a rescue or
rehome dog. Karen works full-time, is involved in herding,
agility and obedience with her three dogs, and still finds a
great deal of time to devote to rescue work.
Although she lives in Maine, she is only about two hours away from where we were staying in Rochester, Massachusetts. She drove down to meet us at the RV park, then, on her way back, was assisting a friend in Boxer rescue by transporting two dogs "on her way"!
Karen had her own images of what it was like for us in the RV (sitting on the lounge with a glass of wine and the laptop, working on my website). Now that she's seen it in person, I think she really does want us to adopt her!

This
was Duncan's "quality time" -
Karen makes sure that each of the dogs gets his fair share!

Some things never change - the dogs do the same thing at home!

It was a great visit, but as usual, much too short. It was a real pleasure to be able to thank Karen face to face for her assistance in our adoption of Scooch, and to show her what a wonderful and happy dog we share our lives with.

And, of course, Karen had a smooch for Scooch!
