Marilynn Snook is a person who practices what she preaches. She is actively involved in Bearded Collie Rescue, works with her local humane society, and after just losing a much-loved rescue dog, almost immediately adopted another. Marilynn works full-time, goes to school, is active in herding and does obedience training in her "spare time"!
We had been looking forward to meeting Marilynn because of her active involvement when we adopted Scooch. She called the rescuer (who did not have e-mail) to get information on the dog, and exchanged numerous e-mails with me every day while the process was going on, giving me whatever information, advice, and encouragement I happened to need at that moment. It was a real privilege to be able to let her know in person just how much she is appreciated, and I know she enjoyed being able to see the results of her efforts.

Marilynn brought Lakotah! to our campground to visit us the night we arrived. After the usual initial standoffishness, the girls actually seemed to like each other. We kept trying to get a picture of them touching noses, but it never lasted long enough.

Marilynn
was thrilled that Lakotah! enjoyed the water.
Scooch, who normally walks right in, wasn't at all interested.
The water was way too warm!

What do you get when you cross Marilynn, Diane, and half a bottle of wine?

Obviously, Scooch in boots! It's a good thing she's so tolerant!

Then,
Marilynn decided to introduce Scooch to Mischa,
who was less than thrilled with the whole situation.

Honest, it was just water in the glasses!
