We spent a week in the Spokane area visiting old friends.
Carl & Beth Wood are friends who we met in Hawaii. Beth was a member of The Country Dancers of Hawaii, and Carl is in the Air Force and moonlights as a DJ. He has all his own equipment and does an excellent job!
We visited their very nice home (the first they've actually owned!) for dinner one evening. We brought home pickles and salsa that Beth had made from her own garden harvest. We were duly impressed! Another evening, we all went out to dinner and then dancing at Kelly's in Stateline, Idaho. We all had a great time - it was a lot of fun to be dancing with Beth again!

We also visited with some old friends of Bill's who he hadn't seen in several years. We visited Stephen and Jan for a barbecue at their home, and all went out to dinner at a Japanese restaurant on another evening. It was a great visit, and we hope it won't be too long before we get to see them all again.
