We
left home on June 8, traveling through Alabama, Mississippi and
Louisiana to return our granddaughter to Granger, Texas. Reanne
traveled amazingly well for a five-year-old. She got to sit up
front and talk Grandpa's ears off most of the time, and we
stopped in parks with swimming pools and playgrounds to be sure
that the trip was somewhat enjoyable for her.

Scooch
quickly taught Reanne the finer points of RV travel ;-)

We
stayed at Granger Lake State Park for three nights, and got to
visit with our grandson, Stevan, who we hadn't seen since right
after he was born in October 1998.

We
also had an evening out with Missy & Allan,
then took the
whole gang out to breakfast before leaving for our "real"
vacation.

The
weather was threatening, but fortunately, that was all it did.
We went as far as Abilene the first night,
and spent the next three nights in different locations in
Colorado.
